WHY CHOOSE BCT®?

BCT® Concept

BCT® is the revolutionary design of rivet nuts. With four cross holes on the shank, we can control where the bulge starts forming in a range of materials from steel to composite materials.
The controlled bulge ensures optimal fitting even into holes not perfectly round or irregular or oversized.
The position of these cross holes and the dimensions of the product lead to different types of BCT® Rivet nuts.

BCT® in composite materials

BBA BCT® standard steel material has a tensile strength of 480MPA, 45% higher than the industry standard 330MPA.

The BCT® can be installed in a hole with a greater tolerance than standard fasteners. A 9mm installation hole can have up to +0.6mm tolerance as opposed to a standard +0.1mm.

The BCT® bulge will form where the holes are placed in accordance to the required material thickness.

The BCT® bulge forms up to a 40% larger bulge compared to standard rivet nuts, reducing stress on the material.

The BCT® has no radial expansion in to the sheet material reducing cracks or delamination. Additionally, this allows the BCT® to be installed closer to the edge of a brittle profile.

The BCT® has approximately a 50% higher pullout force due to the full contact of the bulge on the sheet material and a higher quality of blind rivet nut material.

An elastic screwing connection is guaranteed. An over-elastic screwing connection is possible upon request.

BCT® Multigrip

BCT® Multigrip has up to 3 times larger grip range than standard fasteners. A standard M8 grip range is 0.5-3mm, whereas a BCT® Multigrip M8 has a grip range 0.5-8mm.

Use one fastener for multiple sheet thickness applications.

BBA BCT® standard steel material has a tensile strength of 480MPA, 45% higher than the industry standard 350MPA. Also, available in BCT® Ultra with 600MPA. Click here to find out more…

With BCT® Multigrip a single setting force will fully set the fastener regardless of the sheet thickness. Tooling can be set once and not adjusted per install.

Customers can buy one part for use across multiple applications, reducing cost due to higher volumes.

Customers using BCT® Multigrip products across their applications have no contamination or mixing of parts with this one for all fastener.

BCT® Bearing Stress

BCT® rivet nuts have no radial expansion into the sheet material during deformation. This allows BCT® technology to be used in plastic materials like Thermoplasticin (PA/PP) and Duroplastic (Carbon).

BCT® Torque to Turn

BCT® fasteners have a 20% higher Torque to Turn capability than standard fasteners. BCT® fasteners create more contact with the sheet and eliminate the need for teeth under the head to achieve a higher torque.

BCT® Multigrip Installation

BCT® Multigrip fasteners can be installed in up to 3 times larger grip range than standard fasteners. Using the same force for all grip ranges allows no tooling changes for multiple applications or tolerances.
